Persian Tea and Spice
Challenge
To develop the brand identity (logo and tea packaging) for this tea seller.
Background
A start-up set up by three Iranian sisters, Persian Tea & Spice was looking for branding that alluded to Islamic aesthetics as well as a colour scheme inspired by Fortnum and Mason, a high-end brand who provide tea, as well as other food based goods.
Solution
I developed a logo as well as packaging for this brand, using a light blue similar to Fortnum and Mason and pairing it with a contrasting yellow. Islamic inspired elements include the geometric background, teapot image in the logo, and frames inspired by Middle Eastern architecture. These elements together form a coherent whole, alluding to the sisters' country of origin as well as creating an attractive tea product that will stand out in the market.
