Background
Committed to reducing climate change and drawing on the founder's academic background in Ocean Science, this company conducts environmental research, creating projects & connections with businesses, specifically focusing on the maritime industry.
Solution
Following an in-depth chat, myself and the founder brainstormed ideas and I came up with a logo that incorporated land and sea.
However, the client eventually chose to specialise in the maritime industry, so a new concept was required. We then played around with a range of ideas involving symbols associated with the maritime industry and the sea (such as anchors and compasses). In the end the simplicity and visual elegance of the wave symbol worked best, and fitted perfectly with the A of Atrium. The company has a coherent visual identity laid out in the branding guidance document I provided, as well as a full suite of logos for various purposes, included an animated presentation of the logo to launch the brand.
